Yeah, I care way more about this being a feasible tool for coordinating and booking show which it seems to be doing just fine at.

We're way more focused on using this as a tool to help promote/book DIY bands and provide the best shows/scene as we possibly can. The social aspect is just a fun bonus. This will always be geared more towards the actual shows/bands aspects.

The point is making sure shows are well attended, touring bands get paid well enough, etc...

Who's making shows "business school"? You guys can BS about whatever, no one's stopping you. We're just more focused on making sure the functional part of the board stays functional. No one is saying you have to be.

What's your issue, man? I'm really confused by your negative attitude towards this. Do you see any issue with us trying to help out DIY bands have good shows and to make people in the area aware of the great shows happening? If it's really that big of a deal to you, you can always go elsewhere or start your own forum. We're really happy that people have been overall very receptive towards this and are also able to have fun conversations/interact socially on here, but that was never intended to be the main focus for us and never will be. The purpose of this board is to make our scene as accessible as possible to anyone who wants to be a part of it or even just come out to shows, as well as helping out bands. I really don't see why or how this could be construed as some sort of negative thing in any way.
