PostSubject: Top Three Shows?   Fri May 31, 2013 2:57 pm

So I set aside 15-20 bucks from every paycheck for shows/merch, and I was wondering, after seeing the big list flyer of every June shows, if I had to pick, which three shows should I go to?

I know everyone will have a diff opinion, but I want to see as MANY BANDS as possible this months, but I just cant go to every show. And if I dont see your band in June, dont worry, you can fucking bet you'll see me in the front row of your show in July.

Suggestions?

Moved to the general discussion page, as the show calendars sections are for show postings only! Love this topic though!

So I know I want to see Ages and Two-hand Fools this month, but I don't know which I should pick. Suggestions? What should my third be? What are some can't-miss shows I should ABSOLUTELY be there for?

I feel like that Harvey Pekar release is definitely a no-miss grand-slammer (though I might be a little biased).

If you can make it to any Dag House show, I'd recommend it.

Harvey Pekar release. Good lineup and it's the last chance to see Vince Roy, which you'll definitely want to do (whether you have yet or not.)

Yep, for the time being at least. Their guitarist Ben is moving to Chicago. I think they are going to try to get together and do stuff when they can, so they aren't truly breaking up. It's still a bummer, I love that band.

I'm stoked for:

Tawny Peaks / Ages / Crookshanks @ It's A Kling Thing! (Duh)
NONA / Worship This / THF / Ages / cruelster @ Dag
Signals Midwest / Dikembe / Living Room @ Mahall's

and of course, the Harvey Pekar release show is a no brainer!

I think I will go to Harry pekar's cd release and two at the Dog House (dag house? unsure). I wanted to see the ages one there this week but my mom bitched out at me about going to my cousins fucking quinceanera. You dudes gotta tell me how it goes, though.
